KP23 containers with PTM Walking Floor System and hydraulic gates

Rolling containers with moving floor are mainly used for bulk cargo. They act as buffer elements at the beginning of a plant's production line. They allow temporary control of unloading and automation of the process. By controlling the speed of the floor, it is possible to regulate the amount of cargo transferred to further stages.

At the end of 2020, PTM Polska sp. z o.o. delivered KP23 containers with a moving floor to Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Odpadami Sp. z o. o. in Kielce. The containers are designed to receive the biological fraction of municipal waste from the pre-classification system and transfer it to the SUB conveyor-loading system for digestion chambers in the modern installation of mechanical-biological processing of municipal waste.The containers, after being placed on the municipal waste processing line, are controlled with the help of installed automation, dispensing the appropriate amount of waste to the processing line.

The installed container is of 23m3 capacity, but PTM Polska also produces containers with moving floor system of larger dimensions/capacity, e.g. KP-30, KP-36, KP-40. Besides, the moving floor can also be installed in 20, 40 and 45 feet sea containers.
