PTM compression wall for semi-trailers
Load compaction in moving floor trailers.
A compression compartment is a component of the body of self-unloading semi-trailers for the transportation of shredded mass with capacity optimization, especially masses that allow for compaction. These include low-density bulk cargoes, such as RDF fuel.
The wall is used in the compaction of such cargoes as foil, RDF fuels, bulk raw materials on Moving Floor trailers. It allows you to carry 30% more cargo! This will give you up to 7 tons of extra cargo.
The compression wall has patent P-236789 and is an original idea of PTM Polska. The weight of the wall is 150 kg, it can be installed on all moving floor type trailers of different manufacturers.
Working principle of the compression wall :
1. the front wall (bulkhead wall) performs its mother function and ensures that the box is cleaned during unloading.
2. compression wall (No. 2) so-called rear wall - patent and author's idea, performs the function of compression for the cargo in front of it, that is, between the two bulkhead walls.
3.After the cargo is compressed between the two walls, space remains for an additional batch of cargo.
4.Depending on the compressibility of the compressed cargo, the additional space gained reaches up to 30% of the total volume of the vehicle (trailer).
